This two contact hour home-study continuing education course provides a broad overview of nursing leadership strategies used by Registered Nurses in today’s healthcare environment. Effective leadership skills, communication, team conflict, delegation, building consensus and promoting change are discussed.

About the Author
Yvette Hill is currently Associate Chief Nurse for Acute and Extended Care Services at theWest Palm Beach, Florida U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. She received her Master of Science degree in Human Resource Development and Administration from Barry University, Miami Shores, Florida. Ms. Hill provides guidance, oversight and administrative supervision to a multidisciplinary group of staff.
